CompoCheck is an Australian information and advertising website. We publish free, plain-English information about compensation claims and give you a way to contact a law firm in your state.
What we do
We publish free information about Australian compensation schemes: CTP, TAC, MAIC, ICWA, icare, WorkCover, ReturnToWorkSA and more. If you submit our 60-second eligibility check, your enquiry is sent to the law firm that advertises on CompoCheck for your state and claim type. That firm may contact you about your claim. You decide whether to proceed.

CompoCheck is not a law firm. We do not provide legal advice. We do not represent you in legal matters. We are an information and advertising website. Law firms that appear on this site are advertisers.
Law firms that advertise on CompoCheck
Law firms that appear on CompoCheck are advertisers. Any firm that advertises here must be admitted to practise in at least one Australian state or territory. CompoCheck does not endorse or recommend any particular firm. Check a firm's credentials with the law society in your state before you engage it.
How we make money
CompoCheck is free for you to use. Law firms pay CompoCheck to advertise on the site. That payment does not affect the legal advice you receive or the costs agreement you sign - any costs agreement is between you and the law firm directly. Many Australian personal injury firms offer no-win-no-fee arrangements. Ask any firm you contact for its costs agreement before committing.
Privacy and consent
We handle your personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles. By submitting our form, you consent to CompoCheck and the advertising law firm for your state and claim type contacting you about your claim. Read our Privacy Policy for full details.
Editorial standards
Our claim guides are reviewed by the CompoCheck editorial team and updated when scheme rules change. Every page lists its review date. We aim to update content within 30 days of any state regulator releasing material scheme changes or settlement data.
